Like many urban communities Revere has faced it's fair share of public safety challenges. Sex offenders, Gangs, drag racing and the list goes on. However George has made a positive impact on public safety in Revere

• George wrote the first residency sex offender law in the state which prevents Level 3 sex offender, the most dangerous from living near our schools where our kids learn and play.
• He also wrote the city’s first gang ordinance in Revere to give our police more teeth to prevent gang recruitment among our young and vulnerable.
• And George has fought for greater traffic enforcement in the city to stop irresponsible driver from speeding and drunk drivers from killing our families and friends.
• George has also fought for increased State Police patrols on Revere Beach to ensure everyone can enjoy the beach in peace.
• George continues support and fight for the opening of the Pine Fire Station when economically feasible, because our seniors deserve better.
