* Support the development of casinos and resorts
* Provide incentives to businesses and developers
in order to increase city commerce and economic growth
* Form community assistance agreements with property developers
insuring benefits to the community in areas of commercial

Public Safety
* Provide a community patrol officer to our city’s heavily
trafficked areas of Broadway, Revere Street, Beachmont Corner
and Shirley Avenue
* Aid in the organization of neighborhood watch groups to
increase community participation and maintain public safety
* Increase the number of patrol cars on our streets
* Mandate that all new commercial buildings install integrated
(closed circuit) cameras linked to the Revere Police Department
* Call for the MBTA to increase patrols at all of transit areas
within the city
Accountable and Efficient Government
* Improve city hall technology to increase department operations
and efficiency
* Transition city hall to paperless document management system to
reduce cost and accelerate performance
* Set performance measures and benchmarks within departments
* Institute a zero tolerance policy on theft within city government
Education
* Expand technology in the classroom providing every child access
to a personal computer or laptop
* Enhance access to the dual enrollment program for Revere High
School students, providing an opportunity to take college-level
courses and earn credit toward high school completion and their future college degrees
* Increase and promote early education programs
* Develop E-education online programs for adult learners
Seniors
* Develop a one-time drug assistance program for seniors
financially unable to receive medications
* Develop a one-time financial aid incentive for seniors in need of homecare
Children
* Develop a new recreation center providing children with a
positive afterschool program, complete with on-site homework
help, skills lab, physical activities, arts and crafts,
performing arts, and community service projects
* Provide intergenerational tutoring programs
* Provide long-term education assistance and community
opportunities programs
Quality of Life
* Initiate a neighborhood task force to raise issues and awareness regarding community safety
* Intervene with foreclosed and abandoned properties, providing
strict code enforcement to building and safety code violations
and use of state and federal aid to make such properties
marketable and affordable for revere families
* Strenghten city ordinances for community beautification and
enforcement of fines for noise, litter and un-kept property
violations
* Provide a community expectation information sheet for all new
residents
